Baby and Me Play Group
The Baby and Me Playgroup is open to any baby 3 months or younger who comes with a caregiver. Snacks and diapers will be provided to all that attend. This is a great opportunity to connect with area families, learn about your child’s development, ask questions about feeding (including breastfeeding support), sleeping, and overall health. This play group is free and is held the 2nd Thursday of each month, 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Level D Conference Room at Springfield Hospital. The Childbirth Education Class is provided to prepare the mother and her support person for the birth by providing opportunities to address questions and concerns, and education regarding the birth process. The goal is to provide information to the family so that the mother can be confident of her capabilities. The ultimate goal is a healthy mother and healthy baby. This class is free and is held the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Please call Sandy at 802-885-7686.

Caring for a person with dementia can feel isolating and overwhelming, but you are not alone! NAMI Connection – Springfield, VT
This free weekly support group is a peer recovery support group for adults living with mental health challenges. Groups meet weekly for 90 minutes. The Springfield Connection group meets every Monday, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm at Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) in the CRT Room. HCRS is located at 390 River Street in Springfield, VT.
