Breast Cancer Support Group

Meets monthly, facilitated by Nancy Thibodeau, RN, Certified Breast Care Navigator. Please let Nancy know if you wish to attend a meeting and she will provide the latest date, time and location information. Please call 802-885-7584.

Breastfeeding Support Group

Come and meet other women who are breastfeeding their babies and have your questions answered by our certified lactation counselor. This is a FREE support group that will focus on supporting and promoting breastfeeding mothers and babies. This will be a baby friendly place where you can ask your questions about breastfeeding, but also share with others about how your experience is going. 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month Noon—2pm at Springfield Hospital, Childbirth Center Registration is not required. Just come.

Caregivers Support Group

Caring for a person with dementia can feel isolating and overwhelming, but you are not alone! Join a Family & Friend Support Group and: – Build relationships and learn from other caregivers who understand what you are going through. – Develop new coping strategies and healthy lifestyle practices for you and your loved one. – Find comfort, strength and hope in a compassionate and safe environment, led by a trained group leader. This support group meets the third Wednesday of every month, 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Springfield Hospital Level D Conference Room, Springfield, VT. Presented by Alzheimer’s Association, Vermont Chapter. Grief Support Group

Tuesdays, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm House Facilitator: Heidi Smith, Visiting Nurse & Hospice of VT and NH – This is an open and ongoing group that meets at the First Congregational Church in Springfield. Come as often as you like. Contact 802-578-0826.

NAMI Connection – Springfield, VT

This free weekly support group is a peer recovery support group for adults living with mental health challenges. Groups meet weekly for 90 minutes. The Springfield Connection group meets every Monday, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm at Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) in the CRT Room. HCRS is located at 390 River Street in Springfield, VT. Overeaters Anonymous – Bellows Falls, VT
