Effective July 2, 2020:
- One visitor may be allowed per adult patient for the Inpatient Unit and the Emergency Room.
- Minor age patients may have both parents present.
- Same day appointments for surgery, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services still allow no visitors unless the patient is a minor or is cognitively impaired; and they may have one person to assist. Mi
nors may have both parents present.
- Assistants accompanying children under the age of 18 may not bring any additional children onsite.
- No visitors under the age of 18 will be allowed onsite.
- All visitors must enter the building through either the Main Entrance or the Emergency Department Entrance.
- All visitors will be screened for respiratory symptoms and must be masked at all times when in the building.
- All screened visitors must wear a visitor badge while in the building.
- Visitors must remain with their patient at all times; and are not to walk throughout the building or visit the cafeteria.
- Visiting hours are 10 am – 6 pm daily.
- Springfield Hospital reserves the right to ask visitors to leave in the event of overcrowding or changing circumstances.
